In its early stages, Astral Gate will integrate trusted third-party bridge infrastructure and APIs to deliver fast, secure, and battle-tested cross-chain functionality. This approach allows the protocol to launch quickly, reduce initial risk, and focus on user experience.

As the ecosystem grows and sufficient resources are accumulated, Astral Gate will progressively transition to its own native smart contracts, bridge logic, and execution infrastructure. This shift will increase decentralization, control, and protocol-level optimization while maintaining backward compatibility and security guarantees.

The end goal is a fully self-sustained Astral bridge architecture, powering swaps, transfers, and advanced cross-chain execution through a unified Astral system.
